Waiting on Wednesday: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event, hosted over at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases we're eagerly anticipating.

This week, what's really got my pages in a twist is...

Six of Crows
(The Dregs #1)
Publication Date: October 6, 2015
Hardcover, 320 pages, Henry Holt and Company
Genres: Young Adult, Fantasy

Game of Thrones meets Ocean's Eleven in this brand-book in the world of the Grisha by New York Times-bestselling author Leigh Bardugo.

Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price—and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can't pull it off alone...

A convict with a thirst for revenge.

A sharpshooter who can't walk away from a wager.

A runaway with a privileged past.

A spy known as the Wraith.

A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.

A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.

Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz's crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction—if they don't kill each other first.

My Thoughts

I’m a bit disappointed in the cover. I like it, but it doesn’t entirely match the other books set in the Grisha world. Despite that, I’m super excited to read this!

What book are you waiting for this Wednesday?

    1. You should definitely pick Shadow and Bone up. I didn't think I'd enjoy it either, but I really, really did. ;)
